Western Reserve Scanner, LLC ("WRS", "we", "us") operates wrscanner.com. This policy describes how we collect and use information.

What we collect

  • Email address — used for OTP authentication and notifications.
  • Payment info — processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers.
  • Usage data — anonymous event data via PostHog (cookieless mode).
  • Session data — hashed session tokens stored server-side. We never log raw tokens.
  • IP addresses — stored as SHA256 hashes only, never plaintext.

Radio recordings

All audio is unencrypted public safety radio transmitted over licensed radio frequencies. WRS captures, stores, and rebroadcasts this content under 47 U.S.C. § 605 exemptions applicable to public safety monitoring.

Data deletion

You may request account deletion from your Account page. Deletion is processed within 30 days. Audio recordings are not personally linked to individual users.
